If you’re looking to lose the extra holiday weight, or just eat something that’s healthier and easier on your stomach, this Avocado Salad Recipe is perfect for you.

We discovered it last month and will definitely become a regular dish. Love it as a quick snack in between meals or with some nachos while watching a movie.

This is probably one of the easiest recipes we’ll ever write and it only takes about 5 minutes to make. Just make sure that your avocados are ripe (we all know those things are tricky) and that you use tasty tomatoes – usually, cherry tomatoes are the best.

Also, it’s a salad, so you can’t go wrong with adding other ingredients to it: cucumbers, arugula, corn, olive oil, you name it!

For those of you who are watching your calorie intake, this dish has about 277 per serving.

INGREDIENTS Avocado Salad Recipe

Don’t forget to wash and dry all the produce!

2 Avocados
½ Onion
3 Tomatoes (small)
2 cloves Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
Nachos (optional)

DIRECTIONS Avocado Salad Recipe

Chop the avocado, onion, tomatoes, dice the garlic cloves, mix well in a medium bowl, add salt and pepper to taste, and you have your tasty Avocado Salad!

To make it even tastier, we recommend adding red wine vinegar, feta cheese, and some cilantro. Delish!
